This book was an excellent read. It arrived quickly, was priced at a great discount, and wasan overall excellent process.

The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town (Random House Large Print)

Wow! What an amazing book. A (first) non-fiction book by John Grisham which kept me riveted to the last page! A really worthwhile read!

great. Kept me reading until all hours. Being raised in the a small town in the south, it really was a true repersentation of what goes on.

The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town (Random House Large Print)

This book took many different avenues and spoke of many people which hurt the story in my opinion. The time away from the main character and the problematic conditions of Ron's actions while free made him very human, which I can understand seeing how it is nonfiction, but made Ron a very difficult protagonist to like. I felt for his situation and the injustice that had been done, but the stories of many other characters seemed to just die off. When they wound up taking so much time from the central story, it seemed as though it was incomplete. Grisham did a great job letting us into Ron and his family members' lives. Because of it, I truly feel for their ordeal.

I have read most of his novels, enjoyed all. The InnocentMan,was a tough read due to the recapping throughout. No author can please everyone. I hav ordered his next book.

The Innocent Man: Murder and Injustice in a Small Town (Random House Large Print)

I gave up on this book awhile back because I thought it moved too slowly with this entire backdrop on Ron Williamson. I didn't realize I was reading a true story, due to the fact I rarely peruse liner notes. Grisham always writes fiction I thought.Then...after being blown away recently by another Grisham book "The Brethren" I thought I'd give "The Innocent Man" another chance, STILL not realizing it's based on a true story. While reading, I kept thinking this is not that good a story. Did Grisham really write this? Those were my ignorant thoughts through the first half of this book but I stuck with it, and boy I'm glad I did. When Barry Scheck (lawyer in the OJ trial) became involved I gradually realized this was a true story but I didn't know how the story would resolve. This made for a great fantastic read! The story figuratively became alive.I'm not sure how I would feel about this book if I had known more about it from the start. Grisham is one of the most talented writers out there, fictional or non-fictional.Vincent Marzello does a good job with the audio book especially with the voice of the innocent man Ron Williamson. Thank God for DNA. Powerful book! Highly recommended!
