Maui Revealed: The Ultimate Guidebook
This is the second book that I have owned (first, being The Ultimate Kauai Guide). These guys are the best. They give you an honest opinion of where to go, what it will cost you and places that are not worth your precious vacation time. These guides are like the bible to me. I won't go anywhere without them. I love how they tell you exactly where you are going--mile marker, landmarks, etc. There is no way to get lost with using this book! I felt like I actually had my own personal tour guide with me at all times--one that was on MY side. Keep up the great work guys! Tourists need more people like you watching out for them!!!

When I was planning my trip to Maui, I went through a few books, and quite a few online resources. But I could not get a clear picture of how to go about things, and how to prioritize the things I wanted to do. Then, I came across "Maui Revealed". This book was a lifesaver, and is written in such an excellent way, that it made everything very very easy for us - right from the choice of beaches we should visit, to the choice of Luaus. I loved how they have laid out all the pros and cons, without tilting towards any particular choices. This was the best few bucks I have ever spent. In fact, now I force this book onto every one of my friends who is going to visit Maui :)

I have never purchased books on Amazon before. I was always skeptical about the description. This was exactly what I was looking for, a very informative book, with off the beaten path sites to see. It gave inch by inch directions and we had a great time in Maui. The best surprise is that the book was actually in better shape than described. It was literally brand new and the price from the partnering vendor, was excellent!!!

Price was really low.. 1.38. Shipping was the only real expense. Book came in fab. condition.. Really good guide w. maps of the areas I intend to visit this April. So what if the book dates from 2007. All the tourist attractions and most of the restaurants are still there. Granted the hotel prices may have changed, but I am doing TimeShare anyhow.. and that is not my major concern. Some of the tours I intend to take are really highlited w. good descriptions to help me forsee what they involve. Greatly recommended, even and especially for BEACH reviews, too.

I ordered several of the books from the "Revealed" series and found all of them up to date and accurate. This book was extremely helpful during our "Road to Hana" trip. It offered several time saving and useful tips. Try and read up on the areas you are visiting in advance. If you are just out for the adventure, this book is also excellent and easy to use on the go.

We are embarking on our 5th Hawaiian vacation. We bought the entire set for our third trip. The last two trips plus the upcoming trip were on the Norwegian cruise that cruises out of Honolulu. Each stop is two days on Maui, Kaui, and the big Island Hawaii. Since we are there for just two days at a time it is esssential to plan carefully. We just purchased the latest editions with all the updates. Although you can get the updates on their website, I prefer to have them in print. The books are very simple to read and easy to follow. Much of the information cannot be found in other publications. The author personally experiences everything in the book including the restaurants. We consult them religiously and have never been disappointed.
